There is no right person, wrong time

 It's just a person stringing you along, giving you time as the excuse of not being with you. Wrong Person, wrong time.

To feel this icky is not worth it but it was needed.

Some of the limiting beliefs of what I thought

 I thought that I had to always bring value into a friendship to have any friends, and I really think that limited me, in more ways than one...
