Warning, this is going to be a long one
So I was talking about something I was doing and this guy says, oh, I don't think I'm creative, and I was about to just quietly go along with what he's saying. Because I didn't want to be, you know, the person that rants because I was about to rant to him about his belief. But then my brain was like, no, you have to speak truth. Like I can't just agree or like just say "mhmm" and let it pass so then I told him that I think everyone is creative, just in their own way.
Which I believe almost 100% because once I started to figure society and people have told us the only way to be creative is maybe through art, but that is such a lie. For example, if you believe that people landed on the moon in 1969. Then scientists had to be creative because creative is trying to do something that's technically never been done or in a special way. They have to think of different things with physics and numbers in science, to be able to have a rocket be launched into the air and land on the moon.
There are so many instances where people are creative, just not in the artistic sense. You had to be slightly creative, like the fan you didn't have to be exactly artistic, but maybe mechanical things or engineering or with numbers. Sadly algebra was created And so was arithmetic and people who are creative would have been the ones to think of those things. If we weren't creative we wouldn't even know what to do. So yes, sometimes the creativity of certain things aren't exactly appreciated.
Someone who decided to make fragrance a thing was creative. I can give you so many more examples of people being creative that it wasn't just art that they were being creative with. In almost every field you can be creative and if you decide to believe you're not creative, then you're probably not going to be creative or you're not going to see the things you do as creative, and that's so sad to see.
